Retrofit Thermotronic display brightness

Hi All, I just finish to switch my faulty analog/old climate control unit to a Thermotronic digital unit from a w209, all works fine, cool, hot, vents, tunnel mode BUT I see the digital display it's barely legible under sunny conditions, I don't know if this is a "feature" of always surprising Mercedes or may be faulty LCD? Check the attachment , thanks!

If it is a faulty LCD, my display shares the same fault.

I have difficulty reading the digital display in the center of the gauge cluster in bright sunlight. I have been attributing that to the inherent limitations of the technology.

I don't remember a situation where the sun reach the center display, I'm happy whit that screen, so your climate screen is also dimmed as mine?
