Transmission jerks when resuming acceleration.

Hi!

Been having issues for over a year now, but now slowly getting sick of my 722.999 acting up. Did a trans service a while ago without any improvement. Anyhow, the problem is a quite noticeable jerk only occurring when resuming acceleration from low speeds. I think the car is in 2nd of 3rd gear when it happens. It never happens when accelerating from a standstill. The jerk happens around 2-2.5k rpms and there is a small visible rpm drop. It's just one jerk, then it's fine throughout the whole acceleration. It tends to happen a lot more when the transmission is warm. Usually never happens within the first 5 minutes of driving after a cold start.
I should mention that the transmission also do throw a monthly error code P2767, speed sensor. It this unrelated to the jerk and just yet another issue? I solve it by restarting the car and it's fine for another month I can live with restarting the car but the jerk is more annoying...

Start by cleaning valve body and solenoids?

Thankful for all input! Stay safe.

It could be almost anything, including the speed sensor. Wiring, computer, solenoids, etc.

You mention getting an intermittent generic trans error, P2767. What sort of scanner did you use? Generic or MB specific?

If generic, the first step would be to get a real scan done, one that’s capable of pulling codes from the transmission module.

Hopefully, that will give you the specific info you need to troubleshoot effectively.

I just changed my fuel filter which was way overdue - about 10 years . The filter was very very dirty. That made a HUGE difference in overall smoothness and gear shifts during soft/moderate acceleration.
