Steve is heading home
I had dropped off Steve at the Chicago airport this morning and he's on his way home as we speak, minus the flight connections.
I hosted the Chicago install which was Steve's last stop in his tour. We had 6 individuals that had commands/Navigation installed and 1 Stardiag update. It went like clock-work and everyone was excited when they got their car done. The first night he finished 4 vehicles, the next day 3 more. My vehicle took the longest, considering command and tv tuner. Unfortunately the digital climate control did not work for me, 2004.5 C230K maybe next time.
Weather was pefect, blue skies and around the low 70's. On the 2nd day, Steve was able to finish early so a few of us took him out for dinner. Steve and I had a chance to do a small tour of Chicago, it was nice to have had an opportunity to show him around town.
Sorry no pics yet, I'll post as soon as possible.
For those that don't know Steve or haven't the opportunity to work with him and his crew, all I can say is that you will be very impressed. He's got my highest rating, 5 stars all the way! If perfection is important to you, Steve's your man.
On behalf of the "Chicago Connection" we thank you Steve, Wanda, and the rest of the MBenzNL team. Hope you had a great flight home. Looking forward to seeing you again.

he will be here in mid-to-late September. I'm already on the list for Euro COMAND install during that time. Check with Wanda or e-mail Steve, if you want the install.

i can imagine it.
looking up the address in the thomas guide saying to themselves. "the route is being calculated"
getting ready to drive: "please proceed to the nearest road."
saying the left and right turns. oops gotta turn around: "when possible, make a u-turn"
"you have reached your destination" start waving that checkerd flag.

Any comments???... after all, Mr CitronC230K_03 stayed up late thinking about it... I did my own share of laughing on the floor on Mr. CitronC230K_03's comments
. Now I am back on my chair and able to type again
Cheers

Yes Steve's wonderful. How's the TV Tuner? I decided not to get it this time, but maybe next mod... How's the reception? You have a DVD player hooked up? Please post some pics of the install if possible. Thanks.

The H2 is all tricked out, I'm running 7 monitors; 2 in the front, all four headrests, and a huge 15" widescreen for those tailgate parties. Got 2 dvd players so each passenger has a choice what they want to watch, 2 tv tuners, game port for PS2/XBox, Navigation, and a backup camera. As much as this is a true off road vehicle, which I actually take off roading, it's got the entertainment aspect for the family (3 kids).
It's all about that passioin for the automobile, now I'm hooked on getting the Benz tricked out so let the projects begin (just picked up my Benz last May).
I'll send pics of the Benz, can't seem to find my digital camera right now.

It was my pleasure...the service and help provided by you to get the Chigaco installs sorted out were of great help...it went smooth and easy without a single sort of problem.
It was nice meeting you and the other chicago people and will surely ve coming back with the other parts on your list!
My flight home was great...Chicago-Atlanta-NY JFK went smooth eventhough I checked in late...thumbs up for Delta...
NY JFK-London Heathrow-Amsterdam were less problemless...I had to run through the LHR terminals to catch my connecting flight (the NY flight came in late and LHR terminals are a disaster as far as walkways go) and when I arrived at AMsterdam I have spend 4 hours in order to get my luggage sorted out (whic was left at LHR)...so as of know...I am no longer in posession of my stardiagnose
!!! I hope it will come in one of these days...greetingz,
