Just signed up. Have been looking at threads for a while and most are super useful, but I've came across a problem with my car that has got me stumped.
I have a 2001 c200 kompressor, which lately had a rough idle issue and hunting when I start it from cold, which goes away significantly once the car is put into drive. No CEL, no stored or pending fault codes either. Took it to the mechanics, and after testing the only fault description that came up was 'unknown fault'. Mechanics suspect intake manifold flaps are stuck, im not so convinced.
Car doesnt stall, mpg is fine and there is no loss of power at all. At wits end as to what may possibly be wrong with my car?

So they finally figured out the problem, it was a ventilation at partial load issue, which meant I had to change the ventilation nozzles, hoses, air flow meter, and PCV valves. would cost me about 3,000$ total
