Help with part for 2007 C230 Sport rear brake line

Hi,

Hope everyone is staying safe and sane during these trying times.

Recently the driver's side metal brake line on my '07 developed a leak so I ordered both rear lines from the dealer along with new adapters (75, 80, 105, 110) based on the attached diagram the dealer sent as a reference. However, when I pulled off the plastic underbody cover (along the left side) I found that the brake lines run from the ABS unit to the rear over the fuel tank and connects to the flexible hose as a single pipe. I lowered the fuel tank to see if the adapter was there but did not find any breaks in the line. Does anyone know if the '07 sport uses a single metal line or if they are indeed two and where should I expect to find the adapter?

Thanks!

To close this thread out and update for future reference. I learned that MB no longer sell the single line and the part has been superceded by the two piece setup as shown in the diagram.

Thank you very much, I'm in the exact same situation, do you still have the part numbers please?
Also how complicated is dropping the fuel tank please @arifk ?

I had to do this on the left…did it rott up in the nook by the subframe?! Even if not - you shouldn’t need to drop the tank or anything else - just cut the OEM solid line and bend your own line to fit…adapt/union/flare and be done. Dealer only sells straight line anyway - so you have to make all your bends regardless.

It did! What's wrong with that nook anyway? Does it collect water or what? I think we both need to replace whole lines at some point, rear ones look rusty but the leak is exactly where you're referring.

Per other thread, that area has a clip and seems to be a moisture trap.
