Hey guys I just bought a 03 c230 kompressor coupe. The intake snorkel is torn and need replacing. So I been browsing this forum and others on this info. I want to remove the airbox and install an inline airfilter in a canister.Not sure the exact name but anyways I've seen a few on fleabay for pretty cheap. I would rather order a decent one though. So two questions I know its a 3in opening and about a 4 inch body housing on the canister and I found one thats over 5 inches long (145mm). Would it be better to find a larger around and longer Something like this but a split pipe to both front inlets.
one than that?I don't know the hood clearance for a bigger one but I'm guessing a bigger one would be better. Also I want to run it straight through to the drivers side instead. Do you think a y pipe and run dual snorkel setup would be preferred if I bought a larger filter canister?
