transmission pan drain plug stuck.
I've already broken 2 torx bits trying to remove it. Same deal with the pan torx bolts. I don't think its a torque issue. I think its a someone put this thing back on way too tight issue. Ideas?!?

I once had a similar problem. Instead of breaking the bits, I began rounding the hole in the drain plug bolt. They use way too soft of a material (brass?).
My mechanic freed it up by spraying some penetrating oil, inserting a (correct) bit in, then giving it a few good whacks with a hammer. In any case, you probably want to replace the bolt once you get it off, as well as the copper crush washer.
Not sure if they've updated it, but the transmission drain plug uses a 5mm hex. The pan bolts are external Torx. Mine came off without any issue. FYI the pan bolts are one time use.
