Problem with immobilizer/anti-theft system
Hello there,
I encountered with the one issue on my 2003 MB C 240 4MATIC Sedan 4D after replacing the turn signal combination switch (Interchange part numbers: 0005452310, CBS2349, 1S12287). Once I connect the negative wire to the battery the car's alarm starts to work and doesn't stop. I tried everything to turn it off, but it was useless. After all attempts to do it I just removed the fuse number 8 and turn off the whole anti-theft system. Could you please give me a piece of advice on how can I work it out?

Sorry for disturbing you! The problem was resolved and the cause was related to the hood's sensor. It has an incorrect position when I connected the battery and this error was recorded in the system that's why the car had the alarm status. The error's record was removed by the diagnostic system tool in the car service for free of charge.
