Fuel Pressure test kit recommendations? (M271)
Can any recommend a fuel pressure test kit or product that is of decent quality and can fit the schrader valve on a M271 fuel rail? (I imagine the schrader valve would be the same size/thread on all modern MB engines). Looking for a bare bones plug and play kit. Something I can screw right into the rail and start the car. No need for any extra fittings other than maybe one for a drain line.
A quick search online shows a few kits that work but are of questionable quality.

Found a suitable product. The OTC 5630 does the job quite nicely.
Good
- Decent price. Not the cheapest I could find, but the cheapest one I could find with good reviews and usability.
- Rubberized gauge edge protects against drops.
- Push button with relief valve for draining out air bubbles during and after testing.
- stock schrader connector fits the M271 fuel rail. I assume this will fit all over modern MB (or German) engines. This thing came with an adapter I didn't need, which I assume is for fitting domestic vehicles.
Bad
- The gauge isn't fluid filled. The needle vibrated like crazy during testing. Easy enough to read the middle of the needle range though.
The guy at the auto parts store couldn't really answer my questions regarding fitment, so hopefully this information will save a member or two some trouble.
