Speaking of "de-badging", I assume that measn to take the "c230" & "kompressor" characters off the car...did dealer charge for that when you took it in 5 months later?

Yes the 2005 is different than a 2003 but most systems will be interchangeable. A coilover it is going to work on any W203 or W209 for the basis chassis is the same.
The pro kit is a simple lowering spring. It looks good but with out a set of koni shocks, it will not have the proper rebound control. The front suspension of the W203 and W209 are prone to bottoming out if the shock is not well matched to the spring. This is why I am loyal to the Carlsson kit. This kit will never let the car bottom out and it will provide the best driving experience of any suspension upgrade. The H&R coilover kit is similar but a bit softer.
The Cup Kit is not known to be soft at all. In reality it is the lowest roughest riding non adjustable suspension out for the W203. Many C32 owners purchased these for their cars 2 years ago and it was so bad that 2 board members sold their cars due to the head ache caused but the Pro kit. I would stay away from it. Get the H&R coilover kit way before that Cup Kit.

Thanx for all your help, I know the suspension topic has been beaten to death on this forum.
I was thinking about going with the Carlsson, do you recommend the coilovers or the suspension system? I was lead to believe coilovers give a harsher ride than replacing the springs and shocks, is this true?
Thanx for all your help!
