I'm having the following done on Wed:

- C32 AMG brakes (finally !)
- install front & rear AMG sway bars
- H&R Cup Kit
- RENNTECH software upgrade
- '04 MB Aero Wipers
- and possibly, hopefully, C32 AMG exhaust muffler & twin-oval tips

the CROW is in the air !

Actually, that's 2 months worth of mods that i've saved for.
July was pretty dry ! The C32 AMG brakes and AMG sway bars have been sitting at the garage waiting for me this whole time.
The C32 AMG exhaust, I'm hopefully buying from a certain drunk CROW, if he ever gets his car back on time. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed !!!!

September, I've got the following going on:

- EURO Comand from Steve
- Bi-X (if Steve can find me a clean pair)

and waiting to get installed are:
- C32 shifter (have no clue how to take out the old one)
- MB illum door sills from Harris (being shipped)

MODS thrown out the window in favor of other stuff:
- Underdrive Pulley Kit
- AMG Suspension Kit
- SLK55 AMG dual twin-oval (pseudo quad) exhaust

after all that is done, I'm taking a break and enjoying my ride !

H&R Cup Kit i'm getting brand-spanking new. Don't want to worry about somebody else's used springs, cut springs, sedan vs coupe springs, unsprung/sprung weight issues, etc... At least I know that this particular kit was designed for the Coupe, it's weight and correct size & drop.

As far as the C32 AMG exhaust... I hope time-out doesn't last too long and the keys are returned. Wouldn't want CROW dong on my exhaust !

The only thing, I've just been told, that might not happen is the
H&R Cup Kit. It's been on back-order for ever, and as of today it's still not in. If I don't get it by Friday morning, I might have to wait some more.

Also, the C32 AMG exhaust is coming off Mr. W's automobile, so if he doesn't get his car back from the dealer this week, that might not happen either...

no worries, but just frustrating knowing you're so close, but so far to the next mod !!

The CROWS must have something to do with all this !

Got news from my dealer today (Mothercrow's nest ). My crow-mobile should be back on my hands by Friday... . If that is the case, I won't have time on Friday to go to San Diego to have the Carlsson quad exhaust installed, but I'll be able to make to the meeting. I spoke with Michael today and re-scheduled my appointment at his shop from Thursday to next Tuesday. He (Michael) confirmed to me my Carlsson exhaust system has arrived and it is waiting for me to come down to have it installed (... Don't get to existed about my new exhaust being there, cause that is a PAID IN FULL item --including installation, body work, blah, blah--, they are just holding it for me )

For you guys a thought on mods.. Michael (this is the guy at the shop in San Diego) tell's me that a FULL Carlsson kit consisting of:

Carlsson C32 upgrade kit:
ALL BRAND NEW
-High flow headers
-2 high flow catalic converters
-complete independent and true quad exhaust system
-VMax limiter software upgrade (voids the 155 pmh max speed limit)
-Ignition reprogramming-tunning

Total for kit: 16k + taxes.... Grand total about 19k and change after installation and taxes and blah, blah.

As "always".. every time I buy something from those guys (that is Carlsson, Brabus, AMG, etc), they "offer" me "deals"... so with my exhaust I had the pre-order for the entire kit as seen above for a total price of 10k no more, no less (of course taxes and installation still apply).

The interesting thing is:

The kit is about 16k-17k ... for 3k more... that is 20 thousand, Brabus WILL install a V8 426 hp at the real wheels engine (plus an additional 1k if the car has more than 20thousand miles).

MORE interesting is that, the same "option" I had when I built my C32...for an additional 15k (euros, be advised all the other numbers are based on US Dollars, except this one) I could have had the V8 AMG installed on my C32 from factory... whelp???.... at the time, the cost of the C32 was more than an stock E55... thus; why I ended up ordering and buying a V12 E-AMG beast (still ended up paying wayy to much for a "Taxi" --that is what E classes are in Europe, taxis...lol, E320s though... and no luxuries on the interior too...-- cab in Europe)...

Sooo many mods... and so little time and money!!...lol
