nope im not going to be there. my UHI is getting installed today!
i emailed Brav and talked to him about this. my install loctation couldnt change from Mark's place to Barv's. since my install is planned for 6pm dont think i can make it.

But he has pushed all the installs for today for earlier times, because he wants to make the BBQ too !!! A man's gotta eat !
BBQ will start around 3 pm'ish and go as long as people want to stick around (ie night-time).
I'm out the door now, because my 2pm appt will now go at 12noon.
You might want to get there early too !
Mr. Wiedermann, the address for the BBQ is as follows:

best route is South 5, exit Jamboree Rd, go north approx 1 mile, turn right on Robinson Dr. and then again on Asbury. Everyone that has COMAND should be OK. I'll be using mine for the first time to get there after my install party with Steve in Huntington Beach.
If you all can make it, that would be great. Looks like there's a long list of MB's signed up to show at the BBQ. Bring some $$ to help offset the cost.
Mr. W, if you do make it down here, you could bring some of the "toys" we talked about yesterday on the phone. Thanks !!

the BBQ was very nice! alot of great cars out there. Only 4 C's. Myself, Saprissa (C320 coupe) and SleeperZZZ (C240) and Mark Cummins loaner C240 wagon. Mostly W211's, 2 W211 E320's, couple E500's, 4 i think E55's, JamE55 was there. 2 208 CLK's. at the most i think 13 cars i counted. It was a nice turn out though. food was great and just a chance to stand aorund and bull***** about cars and mods, and talk to Steve etc. it was a nice turn out, you guys missed out.
I didnt get my UHI installed because the cradle hasnt arrived yet and Steve said it would be easier to wait until the cradle arrives. im getting Linguatronic with my UHI now. Steve says the cradle for the 6230 should be out by the end of the year but just as in regular mercedes fashion it will probably be next year sometime. so the wait continues.

I had my camera with me, and didn't take any pictures. I guess Brav's food and conversation with Steve was just too good !! There were some very nice E55's out there... both looks & sounds ! I could only imagine that Mr. Wiedermann's exhaust sounds just like those deep rumbles we heard.Well, at least there was some CROW representation as well as some C-Class presence !!! All those E's were just sick !

Hey, I've been spending a lot of time in the Riverside/Palm Springs area... all nice and whathave you... STILL... not even in Palm Springs I see as many MBs on driveways as I see where I live... oh no... this is going to enfuriate some other members that don't live in the Ventura area... who could that be...hmmmm... I don't know... someone that goes by Vader maybe...???.. (yeah, he is a OC freak!!!... lol... no offense Mr vader... you are still the dark heavy lord of the Brabus
) and some others...
Just to add a lil bit to Ventura area... you can see the wife's driving the E55's here... LOL...

I realize that it is now hard for me to commit to anything outside of the preparation for the arrival of baby anaheim_drew this month...
I had planned on going to the BBQ after our Lamaz class this past Saturday 
But the wife did not feel good, and even though she said go to the BBQ, I knew better than that As for the next event I plan on attending and hope it works out that way.....

Lamaz class???... LOL... good that both of you are going... if you missed every single class, you still WILL do fine... most of those classes just make parentS terrified of a kid and make them think that is rocket science...lol.
If you never had a baby before, be prepared that new borns wake up in the middle of the night and they just scream... besides that, they eat, sleep and poop a lot... that is it for the first year!.
.I was lucky enough that my baby boy since day one, slept through the entire night.. sometime 10 12 hours... and during the day, same story... eats and passes out for "nappy time" what a great way to live!!!... haha... now that he is over than 1 yr old, for some reason, he is up ALL day!!... wow!... finally he is like any other kid out there!!!...lol...
