Have a C240 2002
Looking for some insight into this strange problem Ive had on and off for a while now. Sometimes the car starts fine and no lights come on, but lately most of the time I need to turn the key 10-50 times in order for it to turn on,
when it finally comes on it shows brake wear sensor warning and the abs light goes on putting the car into limp mode. Sometimes i can turn the car off and back on right away and the abs turns off and it drives perfectly.
Could a brake wear sensor cause the entire ABS system to disable the car and put it into limp mode?
when the car is running, everything functions correctly. I have no idea where to start with this.
