C230 Prices help wanted
My brother in law is looking at a 2005 c230. The best deal he has gotten so far in ATL is 32, 200 (30,700 with coupon) with no document fee (typically $500) , MSRP of 33,600. I know Atlanta doesn't have the under invoice deals allegedly all over SoCal, but I think he shold be able to do better than this.
Anyone have any thoughts, (from outside California only, please -- never get those deals in the deep south).
Almost positive he could do better on an Internet purchase, but wanted to see the best from a dealer first.
Thanks for any input -- the search engine has provided what it can already.

Yeah, CitronCC230k is right I live in NY and I was only able to get about 1000 under MSRP. But they gave 1500 more than my trade in was worth.

Well that is exactly what I paid for mine over here in Augusta. I don't think you are going to get much better than that for an '05...they can't keep them on the lot.
When I was doing internet inquires to dealers in ATL, I was getting about the same number, save maybe a few hundred bucks from them. You may be able cut it another 500 bucks, but if its worth driving all over the ATL for it is the qeustion? It definitely wasn't worth a my 2 hour drive over there. I wish I had the coupon, but couldn't wait that long. 32,200 in this area is about norm...depending on what options are installed.
For the record, Atlanta Classic Cars offered the best deal, next to what I got...
ask for Kathleen Wall I think her name was..

MBWorld Fanatic!
you should EASILY be able to pick up for invoice, if not then at least 200 over invoice.
Shop around within the state....... if not then start shopping around florida. Jacksonville and Orlando will do it. Orlando now has 2 dealers so you have a good shot of pickin it up and taking a vacation while you are at it.
Good luck.

Why don't you use carsdirect.com? The current price is under invoice now, and you can use the coupon when you write a check for deposit. BTW, you can get under invoice deal here in NoCA too.

My '05 had a list of $35,9XX and I picked it up for $31,9XX without a C-Spot Coupon, etc. This was in the DC area, your brother should be able to do better.
Good Luck!

2004.5 C320 Sports Sedan
Kathleen at Atlanta Classic Cars is awesome!!!!
Here's the deal:
I Bought C320 Sports Sedan automatic with Sunroof package, Powerseats, 6 disc CD Changer, Full Leather, Obsidian Black and Black Interior, Bose, teleaid. It was listed at $44,500. I was gonna trade in my Xterra but they only offered my $5,500 for it and I told them I needed to get atleast $10,500 for it to make this deal happen. And I wanted to pay $40,000 out the door for the c320. So they went and adjusted the price of the c320 down $35,000 and gave me $5,500 for my Xterra. So I said yes.
Now here's the kicker!!! Right before signign the papers I asked if we could keep all the numbers the same and just take my Xterra out of the deal Cause i thought I could get more by selling it myself. They agreed. So then I whipped out my c-spot coupon and got another $1500 off so I paid $33,500 out the door!
I still have my Xterra and now sold to myself for a Company vehicle and use it as a write off.
So all in all I Left Very Happy!!!
If you need Kathleen's Contact info let me know.
