m112 ticking/ clicking/ arcing sound and rough idle
Hello one and all!
I recently bought a 05 C320 and this is my first gas vehicle that I own. I hope you can give me advice I am having the following problem. As you can hear in this video
I am having an intermittent noise from the engine. It’s doing this at cold and warm engine and especially in drive or reverse with the foot on the break. Also at the same time the idle is not stable. Sometimes at red light i am putting the car in neutral because the idle is really rough and the vibrations are strong and in neutral and park is much smoother. I have no check engine light and as soon i start driving it’s smooth as well.

2002 C320 Wagon
I am having exactly the same issue, except mine is not intermittent but continuous and a little louder. It seems to be coming from the valve cover, passenger side.
