This is not a Valeo radiator right?

Greetings all, I recently bought a 2002 C32 AMG. Been reading about valeo radiators leaking coolant into the transmission causing very expensive damage.

My car is definitely one of the models affected.

However when I checked my radiator, it looks like one of the previous owners has changed it to a Behr one. I looked at the crimping and it looks like Behr rather than the toothed crimping of the Valeo.

Please could you have a look and give me some reassurance? Thanks so much in advance

Looks like a Behr.

The surest way to tell of course is to look for a sticker. I remember finding one somewhere and it was hard to see (I needed a flashlight).

The valeo radiator was redesigned over a decade ago so any valeo radiator you buy today is ok.

Thanks but I couldn't find any stickers. I'm quite confident now that it's a Behr, the endtank crimp is clearly different from the Valeo.

Thanks, I read as much about the new valeos being okay but I'm now quite happy now that I don't need to think about changing radiators.

I hope you get yours out easier than I did mine. When I say easier I mean more time consuming as I ended up with the bumper off to get more access. Even after following other online videos which made it look easy.
