05 Loaner Car Program
I was told by HBL MB that if the car isn't purchase from them. They don't give you a loaner car when bring in for warranty or any type of service. Is this true? How does MB loaner car program works? Can I bring the car in to any dealer and expect to get a loaner? I used to have an Audi and never had any problem getting a loaner from different dealer.

Every dealer can set its own loaner policy; most do what HBL did to you. You can call around to other local dealerships, but don't expect anything different.

On a 1k diagnostic, service dept. told me I wasn't getting a loaner. Understandable it is only a 20 min service job. Was told on others service jobs/maint loaners are given. So, I called my sales guy, and he arranged a loaner & detailing that was due, so got the loaner after all.

lol, the local MB dealer is small here & they double as a Mazda dealer as well. They don't have very many MBs on the lot so I didn't expect to get a MB when they have plenty of "cheaper" mazdas.

so does Penske! i like that Service, it saves time from having to go to the dealer and they can pick up your car from work.
the Penske also now has mobile trucks that will come to your house or work to perfrom scheduled maintenance.

well for warranty repairs id still prefer to have the flatbed comeout and leave a loaner or me take my car in. for schedueled Service A or B i wouldnt mind the mobile trucks coming to the house or work.
