There was a smaller group that met up at The Block, and from there proceeded to the main parking lot where we all met up. I was one of them, we were around 10 cars there. The "canyon" drive was when we passed 57N and 60W because it passed through some valleys.

I dunno why I said canyon drive, actually, but I just heard it and thought maybe you guys would understand.

Just imagine 10 MB's driving in a convoy at 90-110mph on the freeway and provoking others along.

 

no need to imagine...i was the leading car... and I was only going about 95-100 tops for just a little moment because didn't want make you guys get lost

What was happening up front? Couldn't see too far ahead when we were on the 57N. We almost got lost, actually, because there was a red light that just popped up in front of me so I had to stop (big intersection).

But I had a mapquest printout with me, so I had no problems (I know you guys got the navigation thingie)

Frank: I really like those rims. Remind me of the SLR rims.

Anyway, gotta go... getting all sleepy now... again, great meet!

Wow...great turn out. Even a older 240/300! Where was it held at?

 

LA suburbs, more specifically City of Industry. A little north of Orange County, but about half-hour's drive (no traffic) east of downtown LA. It was a good location for all of us OC people who were often stuck driving hours into the next town (but then saprissa and Wiedermann had to drive far instead >_< ).

Once again, great meet, great cars. Will be posting pics this afternoon.

 

Great seeing everyone. Its been awhile. We need to do it more often... or maybe I need to check the boards more often. Anyways, great meeting new people and putting faces next to screen names. Until next time..

hey everyone... i (this is john, with the silver c230 sedan with the brabus replicas) just wanted to say thanks for putting the meet to together and for everyone who showed up... it was very nice meeting you all.

the oc pre-meet at d&b was a great idea and extremely helpful... especially since this was my first meet and i didnt really know anyone on the board. the drive on the 57 and 60 was awesome! i had the camera in my hand ready to take some rolling pics of all the cars...but decided it probably wasn't the best idea as i saw frankw and saprissa zoom by me at 95mph...

it was sweet seeing all the cars and different mods on each car. im glad i stuck around to the very end to have dinner at frisco's with CitronC230K_03, karugs, SleeperZZZ, Saprissa, Wiederman, preyx, and doug's bro. the food was pretty good but the "entertainment" was even better....

....well i look forward to future meets and checking out everyone's new mods!

LOL!! yea that was arguably the highlight of the entire meet! wiederman is quite a character.... haha. the waitress was a pretty good sport for having to deal with everything that we put her through.... it was funny how you guys all ordered shakes at 3 different times just so she'd have to come back to the table!! HAHA

 

looks like you guys had fun at Frisco. I went to eat and then chill w/ my friend w/ the blk Brabus HRE till pretty late too. Had a great day to keep my mind off something
