Thanks for those that gave me a response.

Those who want to flame me, go ahead, why read my post and waste your time anyway. For all your information, I did do a search. Just cause I'm a noob or have one post to my name doesn't mean I didn't do a search. I was looking for something specific. That is Cost and San Diego. I did do my search and I did come across many of your guys' posts flaming amdeustch. I am aware of that!

But I did my search and didn't get much on what I wanted with how much it would cost OTD in SD.

Don't be so quick to flame someone, just because you're a veteran of the site. All you veterans that flamed me, why don't you give me the info that I want since it was supposedly covered here many time???? Give me the link to it. Otherwise just shut the F*** Up.

Noble,

I don't think I completely understand your comment about taking it up the *** in resale value earlier in this thread. Are you saying that paying less for your car when you first buy it somehow negatively affects resale value down the road?

Or do you just mean mercerdes in general has lower resale value than other brands like bmw?

That is how I read what he posted which is why I posted what I said since he paid over invoice. The lower starting cost means a greater cost recoup when sold. Agreed?

You and drew misread my post.

What im saying is that since the current market on a C class is so heavily discounted this means when we sell our cars later on down the road we will hardly get anything since the new ones are selling so cheap.

Thanks for clarification;
I did not misread your post and based on it I still stand by my edited version. In your original you did not include yourself you said your and it seemed aimed at those who paid under invoice.. Now you change it to we including you. But even with a cheaper sales price, those who got the best deals will use less KY JELLY in the end.

the market value does not have anything to do w/ how much are the new cars are selling for because this is only the case in CA and mostly LA area because Fletcher Jones and HOI are very competitive.

however the resale value of the MB has been in decline or it's just BMW has been climbing up.

Its really not that easy if you you are not sure about market. Alot of people are also intimidate by salesmen. So you cant say "idiot" but I get your sarcasm. But I am bringing you to the dealer on my next car purchase. Thanks man I learn from you too. So much info here its incredible!

What??????????? Market value has eveything to do with what cars are selling for in an area It is based on supply,demand and competition. More dealerships in an area, better deal.... And using Fletcher Jones or HOI was not a got representation of the deals available. Deals are based on ones ability to negotiate...PERIOD........ Knowing the bottom line and eliminating unnecessary cost.....

You should be an excellent negotiator. Your Family business, vendors..... And yes many people are intimidated by salesmen..... thats why it is best to take them out of the equation.....
You know at Frys Electronics and many other places if you go to the store GM you can get any item cheaper than the sales tag..................

Good idea
Answer to your question;;
Find what you want and where it is on the internet. Find out the invoice and offer $2000 under it during the last week in the month..... Stand firm with your in mind price no less that $1000 under invoice. This is a no haggle price...
