2002 C320 Wagon: wiper arms don't have J hooks

Hi guys. Looking for some advice here. Trying to replace the wiper blades on my 2002 C320 Wagon. Everything I see online (including youtube and the Bosch wiper finder) seem to indicate the car should have the typical J hook at the end of the wiper arm. I even ordered the "OE replacements" from Bosch and they are designed for a J hook connector.

Instead, my car has a hook type mechanism on the wiper blade that slides on and off a "bar" on the wiper arm. Did someone replace the arms on my car, or can someone point to where I can buy a wiper blade with the correct locking mechanism?

Someone replaced your wiper arms with the 2004+ aero wiper arms. Free upgrade.

Just use a 2004-2007 vehicle when selecting blades. The driver's side blade is now officially 22" (the original official length was 24"). The passenger side with the linkage is 22". Personally I use 22" on both and it works fine. These blades are often cheaper when purchased in pairs (ie box of 2). The 24" blade adds 1" to the very top and 1" of the very bottom of the driver's swept area, which nobody looks at anyways. The ability of the wipers to clean the rain sensor is completely unaffected with the shorter blade as well.

Thanks to you both! Totally weird that someone swapped out the stock wiper arms.

The new ones make the car look more modern and expensive. Also it was only recently (last few years) that the aero style wiper blades became available for the J hook arms. The aero blades definitely wipe better than the old style ones with all the mini clips.

Consider yourself lucky. I had to pay good money to upgrade the wiper arms on my car.

For clarity, the set I linked above is a pair of 22" blades. Same lengths as the ones I replaced (2005 c230 coupe)
