Thanks, because mine read about 90 C and wondering if its normal.
I have this problem too, I just changed my front bumper and my outside thermometer is reading 45 C when it is actually 31 C
I tried to look for the sensor but I couldnt find it.

the sensor is located right next to your front passenger fog light. It looks like a little nipple sticking out into the air. If you dont see it it might have gotten knocked inside behind the cover. One reason that it could have given you a higher temp is because if it gets knoecked behind the wall, the heat from the engine compartment can get to it and mess with the reading. As for the engine temp 90c sounds about right. On my car it varies from 80-100c depending on the season and if i;m stuck in traffic or on the highway. But right know it seems to average at about 90c with my day to day driving in the summer.
