navi voice control

How do you turn the voice up and down for the navigation. I don't feel like sifting through the manual. DOes anyone have a quick answer. I think that when the radio is loud, the navi vioce is too low. It does it correctly though. It lowers the radio and the vioce comes on, but you can't really hear the directions because the vioce is too low. Any quick answers?

Got to give you credit. At least you're honest about it. My guess is that its faster to RTFM than to wait on someone to get up, have coffee, etc read/research his manual, if applicable, and respond in a timely manner.

it's easy

when the NAV voice is on, you can use the volume control to make it louder or softer....all other times, it controls the stereo....easiest way to do it is to hit RPT to get the last NAV message and adjust the volume control during that time....

It is also the easy way to mute the nav voice, wait 'till she talks and press the mute pushbutton.

(BTW, my plan on getting rich is to create a remote control with only one button, to point at the women.)

plus you can push the volume button to repeat the last command and then turn down the volume, rather than waiting for the next voice commmand.

Another way is when you are not in the route mode, go to the sound setting for the Navi and when she talks, turn up the volume.
