My key doesn't turn when trying to start the vehicle, It takes multiple tries to get it to turn. It took over thirty minutes the last time I was able to get the car running but its frustrating to continue trying to finagle the key ignition to start. I believe it's the ignition tumbler and can't find a good tutorial online for my make and model. Does anyone know the steps to replace the ignition tumbler in a 2000 Mercedes C230 and which tools are required to do so?

 

Your car is a W202, not a W203. Best to post there.

W203s don't have ignition tumblers. Nobody on this forum would know the answer unfortunately.
