W203 Vibration when in D or R when at stop (not a mount issue)

so mine actually looks like this:
it's not the same as the one you shared. but its a bit tough to remove, i'm planning to remove it on monday and see if it's bad, one thing i've noticed is that it idles at 8k rpm and when i put it on drive while stopped it's a 6k rpm and alot of vibration. are these normal rpms at idle and D?

Sorry, my bad. I keep thinking you have the I4 instead of the V6 for some reason.
I assume you're referring to 800 and 600 RPM. 8k would be beyond redline.
600 seems low. At that point your engine is lugging, which is why you're feeling the vibrations. my understanding is that 700 is typical for most engines out there. At this point it may indeed be the throttle body. If cleaning it doesn't solve the problem, maybe try looking at other parts such as the MAF.
Any codes or CEL?

no codes at all, that's why it's throwing me off so much, just having to change most likely to least likely parts, spent over $400 so far, but parts were getting to their end anyways so glad i made the changes. I will be taking the Throttle body tomorrow to see if that will help.
from my understand the MAF will show a code for it right?
one thing i did notice when i take the engine cover off, the hole for the throttle body is open obviously but no mesh on top of it, when i look up parts for the car, everything comes with a mesh on top, could that missing mesh have allowed a large particle to go inside the air intake and damage it?
i'll update on the throttle body tomorrow, if it's too bad to clean, i'll get a new part.

alright so for some update, i removed the throttle body and it's actually in good shape, didn't need to clean it at all but when i had it removed, the only hose going into it was oily along with that part on that's connected to it, anyone knows if that's normal? that hose is cracked from both connection sides. anyone know what that hose is called and the part attached to it as well in the first picture (that part is also attached to the metal line/hose).

Enter your VIN into this site to find the relevant part. Super useful as they use the same drawings as the dealer, though I've found the wrong drawing for individual parts a few times (maybe 1-2% of the time). Always go by PN, then do a quick search online with the same PN to verify the correct part.
Not sure about your V6, but on the I4 there are 2 hoses that vent out of the engine. One goes out of the crankcase (ie bottom part of the engine) and has a check valve, and feeds into the throttle body. The other hose is attached to the valve cover (top of the engine), and feeds into the intake which goes through through the supercharger and muffler and intercooler (your car doesn't have the supercharger or intercooler) then also into the throttle body. Both hoses draw a bit of oil vapour, so unfortunately they do become a sticky mess after a while. I imagine your V6 has a similar layout. Obviously the parts will look different, but the routing of the hoses should be somewhat similar.
Replace the hoses and check to see if there is an updated PN which means MB has updated the material, hopefully to something more durable.
See this crankcase ventilation thread, post #5. Yes it's for the I4 engine but the principle and general layout will be the same as the diagram for any modern gasoline engine.

Looks like PCV hose to me... Crankcase breather hose kit.
If it's torn you have vacuum leak that could be causing issues.

thanx guys for the help. i did find the crankcase breathe hose part, i just ordered it, i was also looking for the part above it, even though i'm not quiet sure it needs to be replaced.
slammer thanx for the details. i checked out the crankcase thread but it seems for another engine type. I also checked out the benz website for parts diagrams, i was able to find the hose but didn't have a picture, thankfully i was able to find it thru ebay and doublechecked it on the benz site to verify it.
garcia, thank you it was indeed the breather hose, so next up test for vacuum leak? any easy way of doing this myself or need to take it in?
thank you all for the continuous help. i believe i'm getting close to solving this.

Hopefully that leads you to the direction. Yes the link was for the I4 M271 engine, but the principle behind the hoses is the same. A cracked breather hose will cause rough idling on any engine.
While you're poking around, replace any other cracked hoses back there. Be sure to check the plastic(!) check valve (I assume the V6 has one), as that was also known for going bad on the I4. Wouldn't be surprised if MB used the same crappy plastic on the V6 version.

thanx slammer, i can't seem to find that part. that's the part that i was asking about. that check valve isn't in the drawings either and can't find it online anywhere by name. maybe has a different name? i might remove it tomorrow morning to see if i can read a PN off it.

I believe this is the part number for the check valve 0021408460 you may need to do some digging on your engine I own the I4 M271 which is the same one I believe slammer has as well which is very knowledgeable on. The rough idle maybe caused by that torn hose once, replace and see if it fixes the issue.

ya that's the one i'm finding for my car as well, but it looks nothing like the part in the picture i took. the part in the picture i took if you notice has 3 connections. it connects to the breather hose as well as 2 lines, while the check valve only has 2. i'll remove it tomorrow hopefully i'll find a PN

some updates, i did find that part is A0004316707 and it's a check valve. (picture below) i'm not sure if there are known issues for that, it's apparently part of a line called BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY, the valve connects the intake manifold to the brake booster. the breather hose arrives tomorrow, so i will change that and see if it fixes things but i wanted to see if i should replace that check valve as well, not sure how to troubleshoot that but will leave it for now.

The brake booster is a separate and unrelated vacuum system.
I imagine there should be something coming out of the crankcase.
If your engine has a check valve, it will be in a hose that connects the crankcase to the throttle body.

slammer but in the first picture i posted you can see it's connected to the breather hose, the breather hose connects to the throttle body and crankcase but it's got a little 3rd connection in the middle that connects to the check valve of the brake booster line. hope this makes sense.
mercedes240, will def. update once i get this solved.

Hey everyone. So i'm having this vibration issue in my 2005 C240 4matic, only has 55k miles on it, very well taken care of and all sudden i'm feeling this vibration when the car is on and i put it on drive/reverse, completely goes away on neutral, and also when i'm driving. It comes back only when i'm at a complete stop with foot on brake and car in D or R. This is what i've done so far:
1. Changed motor mounts
2. Changed transmission mounts
3. Changed air filters
4. Changed all 12 sparkplugs and coils.
Vibration is still there and can't figure out what the issue is. Any guidance would be really appreciate it. I really enjoy fixing these myself but i ran into a wall with this one and i know someone who had a similar issue might be able to help me out.
p.s. If it helps, i feel the vibration mainly on the steering wheel and little bit in the seat.

.I'm going to clean my MAF sensor and see if that does the trick

UPDATE:
I changed the breather hose and seems like vibration remains strong. I think next thing i'd like to do is check for vacuum leak, any recommendations or threads that will explain this process well?
Maxx benz, anyway to tell if the MAF sensor is bad? wouldn't that trigger a CEL? it wouldn't hurt to clean that out i guess to make sure.

Not sure about your particular engine but on the I4 there are several different vacuum lines going into the throttle body. Just like on your car, one of them is for the unrelated brake booster system. It's possible that on the V6 that MB decided to tie the 2 systems together for some reason, but I wouldn't know for sure.
The fact you found the cracked hose to be covered in oil is encouraging, especially if you say one end goes into the crankcase. Can't hurt to replace any damaged hoses or other bits. The check valve looks like it's in decent shape though. When mine failed, the plastic had the mechanical properties of a potato chip. In any case, keep us posted.
