CL203 Sportcoupé 200 Kompressor (M111)
M111 230K bigger crankshaft pulley - no power gain

Hey, maybe someone can help me out:

We've fitted a bigger crankshaft pulley (22cm) to my 2001 CL203 Sportcoupé with the 2.3L M111 Supercharger Engine to get some extra boost and performance.
I've measured times with Dragy before and after and they don't differ at all - performance seems totally unchanged.
We've checked all hoses etc.

Is there anything we could have missed? I've read everywhere an ECU tuning ist NOT needed.
Also the European version of the car doesnt' seem to have a boost sensor, it still reads 0,5 bar maximum with Torque (as before).

Chris

C230 Sport Coup + 2006 W164 ML350 + 99 Ford Escort (What the heck, it gets 38 mpg!)
Disonnected the battery, wait 1/2 hour. Reconnect. ECU will adapt to new boost levels over the next couple hundred miles or so.
Maybe you'll see something then?

thanks mate, will try that but shouldn't this be non-ecu related because the boost-level is elevated mechanically?

@C230 Sport Coup Just a quick question to someone that seems to know a lot about M111 engines: my c200K 2.0l 163bhp coupe (2001) is getting a boost of 0,3bar. no more than that. is that normal or low ?

Is your Recirculating Flap whatever it's called functioning?
There is a procedure for reseting it around here somewhere.
