Fuel Problem (?) C230 Kompressor (Help Please)
Hi Folks,
Appreciate having me on the forum..!! I have been chasing a problem and could use some of your expertise please....
I have a C230 Kompressor and the fuel pump will only run for a couple of seconds and then shuts down. I have gotten it to start a couple of times, but it's rare, so I began to research some of the past threads and throw some parts at it since it deserved it, and has ~160K on it.
What I have done is:
Still the same problem... it will feel like it wants to start (sputters) and then just cranks. the fuel pump also runs but only for a few seconds. I am pretty sure there is spark, just not getting the fuel it needs. I have confirmed there is fuel pressure at the rail.
I am open to your next steps and will post a video if I can figure that out.

- Replace fuel pump
- Replace fuel filter
- Replace fuel solenoid
- Replace CPS (OMG what a pain that was...!!)
- Replace spark plugs
- and a oil change for good measure....
