Holding Water Around Left/Driver's Side Strut Tower
For some time I've been seeing water dripping out the underside of my car, just behind the left front wheel. After some checking, the source was confirmed as accumulated rain/wash water. Seems that it's pooling up, and a drive would slosh things around enough to cause at least some to run out.
Today I decided to try to find the location and worked on cleaning up around the cowl and related areas. After hosing things down I noticed a pool forming around the left strut tower. It would drain a certain amount, then seemed to pretty much stop and a pool of water remains. Very difficult to see down around the strut tower and where the blocked drain is located. Anyone been down this road before and could point out where to focus my crud removal efforts?
Thanks!

Are you talking about the strut tower hole inside the engine bay?

After a bit more sleuthing, I removed the inner fender liner and discovered the drain nozzle circled in red below. Pulling that out released an astonishing amount of water. The nozzle was totally blocked with mud but easy to clean. Hopefully this cuts back on the water storage for the foreseeable future...
