M111k catch can?

Hi all,

Anyone of you guys have installed catch can on m111k? I plan on doing this mod. There are two vent hoses head and crankcase.
Crankcase is partial load (dont know what that means lol) but will it work if I just connect both hoses to the catch can and vent to atmosphere

the engine has already two oil separators build in. One for vacuum (partial load) condition in the housing on top of the oil pan, the other (high load, boost condition) inside the silencer above the supercharger. The high load separator can fill up with sludge and its sometimes a good idea to clean it with brake cleaner. To do this, remove the silencer and clean it from inside. Its a centrifugal oil separator.

Stock airbox sucks literally lol. I'm in the process o making custom airbox (CAI, ram air) for w203 (not final version still in the stage of testing etc). As it's going to be made out of composites, I dont want any oil in the airbox as it doesn't get well with the epoxy. Thats the main a reason for modding PCV.

I did clean the intake when I had it off so I can remove SC silencer. Also cleaned MAF sensor. Do you have any idea how to tackle crankcase ventilation?

From my observation, most oil in the manifold comes trough the high pressure ventilation part (2) from the valve cover. If you design the a new airbox I would put a catch can inside this hose. The low pressure part vents direct in front of the valves and is not a big issue.
The ventilation of the EVO engine is similar, 2,3 is integrated in the silencer housing.
