C240 more power thread that isnt 15 yrs old
Howdy howdy everyone, I'm looking at buying a 2005 C240 Wagon. Having owned 2 previous W203s (C240/C320SW) I'm trying to find ways to bump up my next 240s power. Im seeing lots of used C32 S/Cs on Ebay so I'm leaning towards retrofitting one. I want to know if anyone else has done it, or if you guys have any other recommendations. I'm also planning on putting sport suspension on the car too so I'm hoping that can make up for the lack of HP. I've also looked at underdrive pulleys if I can find some.
I considered buying a C32 but having owned 2 pre-facelift cars, I dont want to deal with the lack of QC, SAM issues, dated interior, or having to rewire the audio system just to be able to connect my phone to the radio.

This place is a joke.
I almost got killed in a C240 wagon when the transmission was inadvertently set to "c" mode, which starts off in 2nd gear. I turned across traffic and with the pedal to the floor, just about nothing happened. Anyhow, the easiest thing to do is swap in a used naturally aspirated 3.2 engine, although I can't guarantee it's a plug amd play solution.
