I was thinking that same thing just the other day as I went into Blockbuster, but on the way out I walked past a guy about my age getting out of a Carrera 4. I wasn't quite as excited after that......

Yeah, my best friend has a Carrera 4 AWD Cabriolet - only $110K

But it's not a daily driver. He might get in it 3X a week for errands/weekends.

Your MB is a daily driver. Keep it and get a used Carrera in about 5-6 years.

I bought a '69 911 when I was 19. Engine was in a box. Built it up, drove it daily for 10 years and loved it! Hail beat it to pieces, so I cashed the insurance check and sold it. Haven't really felt that way about a car since, but I'm starting to feel it about the C-Coupe. I hope it continues to be good to me.

Vince,
I might have thought the same thing except that when I said "he was about my age", I'm 40. He's old enough to afford one I guess, but what does that say about me Anyway, I still love my coupe!

I used to own an acura integra(losta mad doggin and rice heaven).. then I moved into the vw world when I got my Jetta. It was a whole new experience. Dubbers are some of the friendliest people in the car fanatic scene. People wave and smile at you at almost every spotlight. I've been flagged down so many times just to talk about what I've done with my car. In one year.. I met so many friends.. I was able to build the NorCal VW car enthusiast club with over 400+ members. We all enjoy getting together, chatting, taking drives, and just enjoying each other's company. It's pretty tough giving up the jetta.. but I've done what I wanted with it.

I hope this all carries over into the benz scene. I'd hate to find out that benz owners think they're better just because they have a 3-pointed star on the front of their hood. Bimmer guys seem to get this bad rap even tho there are many who aren't bad at all. Well.. with that said.. c-coupe.. here I come.
