2007 C280 4Matic Suspension Upgrade Question Pls.
Hello,
I have a few quick questions regarding suspension upgrades for a 2007 C280 4matic W203. It does in fact seem the suspension options for this model are limited, compared to RWD models. This vehicle has the stock suspension, and I would like to upgrade the springs, shocks/struts for improved performance, etc. I would please ask for advice regarding suspension upgrades.
It seems the options are as follows;
-H&R lowering springs (29230-1), with Bilstein B4 touring "sport" shocks/struts (front; 2033207530, rear; 2033263600) (or Sachs touring shocks/struts)
-KW suspension coilover kit (15225002 and 18025002)
-Ksport coilover kit (CMD051-KP)
I have in fact purchased the H&R springs and Bilstein B4 "sport" touring shocks/struts, however it appears the front spring does not seat seat correctly on the spring perch.
Advice regarding best fitment/performance improvements and "budget friendly" options would be much appreciated. And also if wheel spacers are required. Thank you for your help.
