I guess I'm once again the minority. I don't like those sidemarkers. Otherwise it looks great.

I don't like those sidemarkers either. It don't like how the bulb is visible. For clear sidemarkers, I prefer the ones with the translucent cut pattern, same as the stock sidemarkers but obviously not amber.

TOPSPIN71 has the ones I'm talking about.

What's a Fluted Clear Corner & where did you get those clear side marker lens, F1 Sports ?

I got mine from F1, well actually I won & paid them September 9 but they haven't shipped them yet, and I was about to ask why the stock ones don't have a hole ! I guess I just saw the diference.

Looks great.

I guess the spoiler came unpainted?

Did you install the spoiler yourself? How many holes did you have to drill?

I like those side markers, they go good with the BIX. They have the same cut pattern around the edges and then the diamond cut makes it look clear like the lens of the BIX. Good stuff with the car, love the color.

Spoiler comes painted and even though it brings screws, I just glued mine on with 3M emblem glue. I HOPE he did the same.

Hey Carlos,

Good idea not to drill holes!

When you were applying the 3M glue, did it appear that you would be able to use dental floss to remove your spoiler later *if* you wanted to (same technique as debadging)? For example if you wanted to sell later and the buyer wanted the spoiler to come off...

Based on the information I have reviewed, drilling holes through the trunk might hold the best but not very popular due to possible errors in drilling. The best way is the double sided tape. It is used on most of the applications. I first thought glue would be better than double sided tape. But after thinking about it glue could be the bad option. I have never seen a spoiler hanging off a trunk by the double sided tape. But I have seen emblems held by glue that came off.

Use tape. With glue later on you won't be able to take it off if you change your mind about the spoiler.

I guess if the new owner didn't want the spoiler, it's up to him to get it off, I wouldn't really care that much.

With regards to the dental floss to take it off, Sure it would work but I think fishing line would be better because it's stronger.

BTW, I used double side tape but you can't use that alone because the spoiler is made out of fiberglass and the corners of the spoiler have to be pressed and held on to the corners on the trunk. I used a little glue on the corners and in the middle, not a lot, just enough to keep the spoiler on and held everything in place with some masking tape for about 4 or 5 hours and bingo, it's done.

It came already painted Granite Gray (perfect match and quality) with 3M (2) sided tape attached to the wing, I have my Zender wing on my Passat attached the same way with no issues, they can be removed if needed with the fishing line method...

That looks great. I now know a couple "for sure" mods I'll do if I buy a 05.

Lets see some pics of the Crown Vic. The shmale that owns a local theatre has an old cop car with the cage still installed. Guy/gal's a bit creepy.
