Under Front Armrest

Does anyone know what the notches and grooves under the 05' front armrest (cover) is for?

I'm pretty sure that they're for cards. I use it to store my parking card (it's the same size and style of a credit card).

Its a MB extra. That way when you are pimpin' your ride and get all the attention from the opposite s3x you have a storage place for all the napkins with phone #s.
