05 C230 Kompressor Sports Sedan
Hola!
Helllooo. Just dropping by, saying hello to everyone, just recently purchased a 05 230 Komp! Getting it on Oct 1st .. so I really cannot wait! Already started buying accessories for it, and don't even have the car! 
Anyways, found a couple other forum's on mbz, but after reading all post's on the other forums, this one seems 'comfy' for some reason!
... anyhow .. went from an 04 525i to a c230 Komp, so hopefully I can notice something nicer about this car, then my ruthless beemer!

congrats on the new car. the bug has already hit you. i was the same way. i had my convex mirrors, illuminated strips, Audio10, and climatronic, and peronalized plates before my cars delivery Jan 29 of 03. the other forums are cool, but this place i agree is comfy. there are lot of good people here.

The 04 5 Series (e60) have so many bugs and problems with the car, I just got sick of taking it to the dealership, and them fixing it, and the problem to happen again! On the E60 forums, everyone and there mom's were having problems with this car, so it was time to trade it with my parents, who recently just bought a 05 c230, and wanted to know if I wanted to trade it ... I am a student in Califorinia, and do a lot of driving, so the c230 has great gas mil. so I was like what the heck!

Even when I parent's purchased the car, I went to the mbz dealer, just to see what has changed in the new model's, because previously we owned a c240 when the new body style came out. There is a BIG diff. between the years! The dealer who was talkign to me, said that he was a bmw dealer for awhile, blah blah .. that the c230 had more of a pick up speed then on the 5. I don't know if he was just trying to tell me that, because of course his job is to sell me the car, but yea, thats what I was told, I really won't know. The 5 does really pick up in the start, but in the end, you are trying to push it, and it wont go anywere!

especially after its been established the 2.5 litre has 184hp. then again it is a V6, smoother and all that. more low end torque.

In that case, it sounds like the C230 is actually faster than the 525i. Good trade!

no offense, but 525 or 325 is probably the only 2 Bimmer that I would avoid getting. My last ride was a 00 328Ci the reason was that the 325 was just cutting it performance wise and also standard feature wise.
