Mercedes C230 2005 misfiring on fast acceleration
My Mercedes C230 2005 is misfiring when I push the throttle and want to accelerate fastly, this happens when it passes the region of 3500 RPM, I could drive the car for hundreds of miles while staying on 3000 RPM and lower and nothing happens but when I want a fast acceleration with high revs this happens. As expected, when the misfire happens the car shakes on idle, the sound is really different, and the acceleration is slower (from my understanding that is because it would be working on 3 cylinders instead of 4)
The problem gets fixed when I turn the car off then back on but it happens again when I try the fast acceleration.
Relevant stored fault codes I checked this morning:
203B-32: Misfire of cylinder 3 Fuel Deficiency
201A-32 Misfire of cylinder 3, damages Three-Way Catalyst
2024-16 T1/4 (Cylinder 4 ignition coil) Combustion period, Readout too small [P0354]
I tried replacing the third cylinder coil 2 days ago but the same problem persisted, after I checked these fault codes, I cleared them. and try accelerating again so the misfire happens, and these codes got stored after the misfire:
201A-2 Misfire of cylinder 3, damages Three-Way Catalyst [P0303]
Misfire of cylinder 1, damages Thee Way Catalyst Fuel deficiency
My engine number is 271948 30 626308
Any help would be appreciated!

For some more details: I read that misfires can be attributed to a clogged or bad catalytic converter, my car has been running without one for years so I don't think the problem stems from it being clogged since it is not there in the first place

Hey Sergio,
You replaced the 3rd coil going back towards the dash looking from the front of engine? Have you tried replacing the spark plugs? Have you pulled the plugs?
Good luck
