Help replacing the hood emblem...
I brought the flat Carlsson emblem. I'm trying to get the old one off. I can't twist it at all. There is a plastic piece that holds the old one. My car is 2003 c203k. I called the dealer...dealer told me that I have to break the plastic pieces off. Any help...pls???

used a bigger plier, get a good hold on the buttom part and twist clockwise (or was it counter clockwise, I forgot)

I just replaced mine last week..
pop up the hood, use a plier to hold the bottom of the upstand star, then twist counterclockwise for 90-degree it should come off ..
it's also very easy to put on the flat one..:
