Please can somebody tell me which foglight this car takes as I have bought 3 ,one off ebay ,one off face book and lastly a expensive one from euro parts and my local garages saying all arr to big ,are they just assuming this as its a round hole as the broken one which was in boot when I got the car look the same but I have lost that in a house move ,was just trying to fix it ro sell car and het the warning message off. Have attached pic my car and ones we bought ,I used the number plate to buy it, though had same issues with wipers, bought set off amazon using reg but were incorrect, it had push and slide type like a w204 not w203.

My understanding is that there are 3 types of mount. Pre facelift, facelifted, and AMG. Only the AMG one is oval, which is the one in the 2nd photo. It is designed specifically for the AMG bumper only. The non AMG bumper has an oval hole, but the proper fog light glass is actually D shaped, like the one your 1st photo.

The pre facelift and post facelift have the same shape but the mounting points are different. The plastic shells are not interchangeable, but the internals and glass are.

Lastly, the pre facelift one comes in either clear or frosted glass varieties. The internals are different as well between these 2 types but they can be swapped.
