No crank- was -starter -changed -now= no start but cranks??

No crank- was -starter -changed -now= no start but cranks??
hi, need some help please ,so right the car had the no crank/no start issue we did all the things ,turned out started was done , had new one put in but now cranks but wont start, now thinking may have caused a issue pulling fuses at the start, t
the day the starter went i had the eml come also.
2 days b4 funny enough just when i picked it up from having a mot , so i put it in for a mot it passes!
collect it on way home eml comes, on then 2 days latter get no crank after i park up and eat my lunch , so bump start it ,lucky its a manual w203 , 2005
so i drive it home park it up get mechanic out to look ,they say starter , so i do all the things i find on here and .i say yep dead starter nut allso wouldnt bump start to drive to the garage but was a very cold morning and in reverse so get a tow to garage they fit starter, but saying it wont start still! so what could it be now, any help guys, starters arnt ecu handshaked r they??....thanku Adam
