Who would be interested in a so call meet? Also lets try and get a weekend planned. Most likely another Saturday meet like last time. Poll your opinions on which Saturday in Oct. works best for you. I think tentitive location is the Rose Bowl. If anyone has any other ideas on locations, throw them out there!
Sat. Oct. will not be an option because of Steve installs, i know Saprissa and I are scheduled that day.

some of my more "labor-intensive" mods won't be happening until mid-October, so I would vote for October 23rd.
as for location: I strongly second Mr. Wiedermann's ROSE BOWL suggestion.
It's an easy drive from O.C., Riverside easteners, and West Coast/ Valley / Ventura folks.
as usual, I'm driving up from San Diego, and if any other fellow San Diegan MB's are up for the challenge, we can caravan up. Meet up with some O.C. folks (just like last time) and continue on to the main meet. Who in San Diego is game ????

i voted for Oct 23rd as well. i highly doubt my PTS will be completed by then, but we'll see. What kind of coordination is required for the Rose Bowl? do we just hang out in the parking lot? anyone know?

To be fair to people from S.D., it should be more central than the Rose Bowl, I vote for the Ritz Carlton of Laguna Niguel, there's a public parking lot next to it to meet at (Salt Creek Beach) and then it's drinks at the Ritz bar.

sounds good to me! have a couple martini's. is the lot large enough? alos does it get crowded on the weekends? someone should scope it out, do a little recon.

I can't imagine that huge parking lot is crowded, specially in late October, after tourist season and it part of the parking lot furthest from the beach. If there's enough interest I'll drive by on Saturday and scope it out.

I think that Laguna will be considered too far..... A central location is the key....

Laguna Niguel....that's south of Laguna Beach. How would that be closer to the ppl coming down north?? 
the last meet was hr and 45 from SD and hr and 45 from SB. We could push it out parallel towards the beach if someone knows where, but Laguna Niguel would be 2 hrs for ppl from SB. Nice try Bulle,
pls don't try to be like JamE55 who only want the meet closer to his home and flake out when it requires a little more drive.

.... You get big thumbs up for the location you picked for our last meet.... It will be hard to equal that turn out....

this time I would love to have the meet near the coast say Santa Monica or at least some place cooler. It would still be fair to ppl from north or south, but I dunno any place in Santa Monica that we can get empty parking lot for free.
also, ppl will probably get lost if it requires more surface street driving to the location.I'll see what I can come up w/ and make recommandation.

Santa Monica is not cool.... Beach closes early and Santa Monica police run you off. I went to Pacific Palisades High School and we partied at the beaches all the time.(years ago) Now there are lot of homeless people... Why not a location between Anaheim and Long Beach? Somewhere off the 405?

I'm now thinking is it possible to have the meet in Torrance area which are near Redondo Beach and San Pedro. Also Del Amo fashion center is there too. it's also about the same distance from north, south, or east.
btw, forgot the name of the shop, but it's a muffler shop behind the Danny's off the 60fwy on Nogales (sp?) going south on the right hand side.
