"Selector switch" - part no pse?
My 2003 C240 has been giving issues for some time now, not wanting to start when in Park. The workshop has now identified the problem as a faulty selector switch.
I can easily buy Merc spares from a breaker's yard, but they will only supply a remanufactured "selector bundle", which includes the PC board, etc. But that has been repaired, I only need the selector switch.
I can probably buy one, but I would need a part number. And therein lies the rub... Can someone please help me with a part number?

I would use a site like https://www.mboemparts.com/ to do the job. Punch in your VIN and you'll be able to find it.
Not sure if there is more than one version, so be very careful for something like this.
To be honest, there's nothing wrong with a used but repaired switch if they provide a warranty. Most likely some solder cracked and someone simply reflowed it on the PCB.
