do the instructions for this MB Accessory roof rack, say if it will work with Coupes that have a PANO ROOF, or only for Coupes with the hard-top roof ????

Since this is a borrowed pic. What's the difference between yours and the ones on the pic? Which accessories are you talking about. Is it the black pad looking thing on the center?

Mine is the exact same rack. I don't have those black things (I beleive those are for a kayak). I do have 2 Thule bicycle attachments with special adapters so that it fits this rack (very clean & nice fit). The bike attachments are the style that you need to remove the from wheel so the fork of the bike mounts to the rack. They are called Thule Velo Vise Pro 511 & they are in near perfect shape.

Thule calls them Xadapt kits. Any Thule dealer and some Mercedes dealers will have them. They are essentially bolts with a large square head (& some other parts) that slide into the tracks on your mercedes rack (or the new Thule alluminum racks that have the same channel on the top). Your accessories then attach to these bolt threads that are sticking up from the rack. The Xadapt kits are numbered and many of the newer Thule accessories work with them. I think they range from about $7-$15 per kit. Jon
