Low beam warning

I got low beam, L warning again.
I took the car to dealer last spring, they replaced the bulb, they said it's common. All summer long no problem. Now with all the rains I got it again. And the Left bulb was out ( low and high). After a few hours it came back on. These are the factory bi-xenons. I remember reading something about the factory units having a short problem in some sensor in the wheel well or something like that. Anyone remember what it was so I can bring it to the dealer's attention?

Thanks

i have BIX from the factory as well. my car was built Dec. 17 02, delivered Jan. 29 03. never once had a problem with mine.

you should take it to the dealer and ask them to replace the entire unit. xenon bulbs last something like 2-3x longer than halogen, or atleast should.

Take it the dealer and yell about it... if you are still under warriaty, they will replace it for free. They replaced my entire head light because the turn signal kept going out on me.

Under warranty ? Take it to the dealer and gripe !! I had both entire rear assemblies changed in my SLK (a few years ago) when they were giving me problems. They were overheating where you couldn't touch them after a while driving.

Let the dealer do their job in keeping you happy.
