DIY painting my trunk spoiler to get rid of the faded clear coat.

did you just reclear it or did you paint it a different color? to get rid of the faded clear you could have wet sanded down cleared it then buffed and polished it. nevermind i see you did the thing anthonyy did with his spoiler

yea, in order to re-clear it i need to sand it way down. not doing that...LOL stripped and painting my beater 97 528 is enough for me. lol

I just turned 146k and still running strong! My CF spoilers clear coat started chipping off so I just bought a new one. Was deciding whether to wrap the old one or paint over the top of it.

hey greg, nice to see your car still running strong too. was just checking...I only drove 6800 ish miles this last year...dang...LOL
i just took off the masking on the spoiler. probably should've clear coated it, but whateverz...better than fading clear coat. it came out alright. car is dirty. i'll get a better pic after i wash it.
