CLC180K wing mirror

Hi Guys

Firstly I do not know if I am in the right forum as the CLC/CL203 does not appear in the forum lists, also hard to find on internet.

My problem is some nice guy/girl decided to see if my wing mirror could take a knock, No! the indicator got shattered. I have looked all over the net for wing mirror cover removal, I have found

every wing mirror you could imagine but not the CLC. I have removed the glass and the 4 x tore 10 screws that hold the adjustment driver

but still cannot remove cover. any assistance would be greatly appreciated, I thought this would be an easy exercise after changing out the engine wiring loom, however it seems elusive.

Thank you in advance

Best bet is to go to the dealer with your VIN.

The CLC is technically a W203, so you are in the right place. However these cars are extremely rare. I don't think I've seen another CLC in this forum.

Not sure if your mirrors are the power folding model but the covers should be available separately. The blinker I'm pretty sure is available separately as well. Mind you I'm basing this answer on the previous version (ie non CLC) C.

Sir I thank you for your help. However I have already sourced the a new cover and indicator unit.
it is advice on how to remove the cover its self that I require.
I have and have had several different MB models and have managed to remove the wing mirror covers on them
However this one is being a pain.

For stuff like this I would take a look at the new part to see how it attaches. For your mirror cover it might be a non-removable set of clips, which means you may have to destroy the old part to remove it. It's rare but not unheard of on these cars.

If all else fails, a rotary (Dremel) tool with a cutting blade is your best friend.
