+1 but then every car manufacture has problems. some people's Mercedes never have a problem like lilbenz230 an i but then others have lots of problems remember everything in life is a gamble.

Oh my car has had a few issues here and there, but all were taken care of by warranty. And it has quirks that other cars I've owned have not had, but it's been worth it. The car exceeds so many expectations.. its quirks, at least some of them, make it endearing.
Early W203s.. 2001 and 2002 could hardly be called "quality" vehicles, sinaa. They were computer endurance tested and the buyers paid a heavy price for this lapse in judgment @ Daimler.

I know it's an old thread, but.....
My '07 C230 with 11k miles is going back to the dealer to fix a chirping from the dash that's driving me nuts.
It's right at 4800Hz (I checked), so it is difficult to localize. This noise is a cross between chirping and squeaking, and it's somewhere in the driver's side dash. I checked all the obvious stuff - the dash top speaker, various panel edges, and poked around a bit under the dash, all without success.
Great car otherwise, but it still has low mileage.

Hands down, knock on wood, ive never had a problem with my 2005 C230 Kompressor since ive bought it in 2005, besides the problems ive caused :P

My cars been in for stupid stuff because Im **** and kinda like having a free loaner car, the only thing that I have had (since owner ship exactly a month old)
1. Sunroof tabs broken
2. Sunroof wont express close (needed cleaning and new "blinds"
3.Gas door lock broke
4.TSB done and update done
5.Check engine due to gas pressure or something, caused by work done on gas door
The sunroof was due to lack of care by the last owner and the gas door is a crap happens and didn't even need to be fixed (guy at the dealer yanked the lock out so I could get gas)
So only 2 thing actually wrong and 1 caused by the guys inadvertently.
I feel comfortable with my 06 W203 M272 powered car being a dependable car, I did purchase a 4 year 50k warrantee for it just in case though.

Knock on wood. I have a 2003 Coupe. Had two check engine lights come on within the first month I had it. Some hoses had to be replaced. Since then, zero problems. The car has 114,000 miles on it and runs like new. Just lucky.
