Stupidest Question Ever
I just bought a new C230, there is a delay in the arrival of mine so the dealer gave me a C230 to drive for free for a week. Now here is the dumb question, there are no manuals in the car and Im wondering where the button for the gas tank is, thanks for the help.

By the time you read this you would have called MB roadside assistance and they would have brought you some gas but the answer is there is no button. Your gas cap is on the passenger side and you press the gas door on the right side and it pivots open. Or you can use a plunger and suck it open to avoid fingerprints!

Just push harder, with authority. It's a German car, it takes effort! Do make sure that the car is unlocked using the remote. Worst case is call MB Roadside assistance and they'll send someone out.

I laughed my a** off when I read this because I have been in the same situation. The first time I had to put gas in my car I had to call the dealer to find out where the.....uh......button was. I have driven some pretty cheap and crappy cars in my time and most of them had some sort of internal release for the gas tank. I thought Mercedes HAS to have a button somewhere!! I didn't even try pushing the gas door.
My boyfriend and I crawled all over the car, looking in the glovebox for the button, down on our knees peering under the driver's seat, etc., reading the manual.....a half hour later I called and my salesman said NO BUTTON! Boy did I feel like a moron.

I finnaly got it yesterday when I figured out the car had to be unlocked. I felt like such an idiot asking but I appreciate the help and the fact than no one made fun of me. Thanks again.
