MAF pigtail broken??
during removal of MAF i broke the lock on the pigtail that plugs into the MAF. my question is when i plug it back in can i zip tie the conection together? the connection is fine but could possibly come lose. i hoping i dont have to change the plug end that connects to maf. though the plasic lock looks as if i can be removed. ? can i just change the lock part? or do i need to change the whole pig tail? or for now will it be ok to zip tie cafefully? i appreciate any help as i shouldnt have voluntered to replace the intake manifold as there are other issues i may have contributed towards in the correct removal process and disconnect of battery and ecm. i just hope i can get this rig back together for a friend and not discover i messed up the ecu or anything else.
