Highly doubt it's the connector.... the sender unit is also known to fail it's on the opposite side of the fuel pump.
I just replaced mine (fuel pump) not to long ago I can hear it turn on but I had no fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Replaced the fuel pump and I was good to go. Maybe a faulty pump? The dealer only sales refurbished pumps they no longer make them new is my understanding or at least that's what my dealer told me.
When you turn the key to 2nd position do you here the pump turn on?
Its hard to see in this pic, but is the insulation around the wires OK?.. it looks like its been cut open, and maybe exposed the copper inside?.. check the integrity of the wire connections going into this connector.. could be the source of your issues?..

Im having that exact problem. On that 4 pin connector...I dont have any power, when the key is in position 2. I did check the power in the relay...and im getting voltage, where the relays are at. Not sure if I should get a new wiring harness...or how should I check the wiring harness for continuity?
