2007 c230 No Power to Fuel Pump
ran for a week. Then wouldn’t start again.
opened it up. All looked good. Cleaned the fuel pump power connector with a little brush, plugged it back in and our c230 started right up.
ran for a few more days. Then did the same thing.
opened it back up, cleaned the connector. Asha she started right up again.
Did this about 4 more times over a month.
She did it again- but this time after cleaning the connector she will not start.
checked for power- seems to be no power coming through the connector.
relay and fuse is good.
There IS power going to fuel filter side.
We cannot find the connector part anywhere. The Mercedes Parts departments have been ZERO help.
Does anyone know if these connectors do burn out? And where we can source them?

I just replaced mine (fuel pump) not to long ago I can hear it turn on but I had no fuel pressure at the fuel rail. Replaced the fuel pump and I was good to go. Maybe a faulty pump? The dealer only sales refurbished pumps they no longer make them new is my understanding or at least that's what my dealer told me.
When you turn the key to 2nd position do you here the pump turn on?

Its hard to see in this pic, but is the insulation around the wires OK?.. it looks like its been cut open, and maybe exposed the copper inside?.. check the integrity of the wire connections going into this connector.. could be the source of your issues?..
