Front axle C clip

Front axle C clip
On my 07 c 280 Removed drivers side axle installing OEM axle. noticed how easy axle came off of intermediate shaft. Noticed no c clip is that correct? I have a new clip but when you set into land on axle I don't see how splined shaft will go in.

Sounds like you have a 4Matic (AWD) model. If your car is AWD, you might want to mention it in your signature.
Hopefully someone with the same model car can answer this question (not too many 4Matic cars here unfortunately). In the meantime, try looking here and see to see if there's a c-clip.
Also next time you want to continue the thread with the previous question instead of starting a new thread with each question. Otherwise nobody will know what your initial question is. Also this just clogs the forum and makes information harder to find.
