w203 coolant type
w203 coolant type
Hey !
I`m new here
So, I have w203 cdi 220 110KW (2006)
Thought about changing the coolant, but I'm not sure which collant is right for my car.
I did some research and most of the answers point to: G11, Zerex G-05, MB 325.0. But still not exactly sure.
So just wanted to check.
BTW the current coolant in the car is "green" (I assume it's the original one)
Thanks!

MB uses G-05 (old) and G-48 (new). But both do the job. They switched to G-48 around 2012.
I'd look for G-48 first, but there's nothing wrong with G-05 either.
Both G-05 and G-48 meet MB 325.0.
G-05 is beige (like tea) and G-48 is blue (like a swimming pool). If your coolant looks lime green, it's a mixture of both, which is fine as the 2 formulations can be mixed without issue.

Glad to help.
Take a look here for MB approved fluids. The trick is to know what the latest MB approval numbers are for each fluid. Sometimes the numbers change when new fluids get developed, but the dealer will be able to provide the latest information.
